What are the niostem Cashback Programs?
niostem offers two cashback programs to support transparent progress tracking and to help build a trusted library of real-world hair regrowth results:
- Before/After Program – based on progress photos
- Trichoscopy Program – based on professional scalp analysis
Both programs are optional and designed to benefit participants while contributing to community education and scientific evaluation.
Who can participate in the Cashback Programs?
All niostem users can participate, provided they meet the minimum eligibility criteria, including sufficient device usage and proper documentation.
What is the minimum usage requirement?
To be eligible for any cashback or reimbursement, participants must demonstrate:
- At least 85% device usage compliance
- Compliance must cover the same period as the submitted photos or trichoscopy scans
This requirement ensures that results reflect consistent and active niostem use.
What happens if my usage is below 85%?
If usage compliance is below 85%:
- niostem cannot guarantee results
- Submitted photos, scans, or reports cannot be considered valid
- Cashback or reimbursement claims will not be approved
This applies to both the Before/After Program and the Trichoscopy Program.
What is the Before/After Program?
The Before/After Program rewards users who submit eligible progress photos showing their hair regrowth journey.
What do I receive?
Participants receive either:
- 50 € (USD) cashback, or
- 1 set of replacement electrodes
What kind of Before/After photos are accepted?
Photos must be suitable for a clear side-by-side comparison. This means:
- Same or very similar camera angle
- Similar lighting conditions
- Comparable hairstyle and hair length
- Similar head positioning
- Clear focus and image sharpness
All photo submissions are reviewed to ensure data quality and fairness.
Do I have to show my face in the photos?
No.
You may submit photos with or without showing your face — the choice is entirely yours.
What is the annual community award?
At the end of each year, the niostem community votes on Discord for the best Before/After result.
- The winner receives an additional 500 € (USD)
- Participation in the vote is optional
What is the Trichoscopy Program?
The Trichoscopy Program reimburses professional scalp analyses to support objective measurement of hair regrowth.
How many trichoscopy scans are reimbursed?
- Up to 4 professional trichoscopy scans
- Recommended at 0, 3, 6, and 12 months
- Up to 100 € (USD) per scan
A minimum of two scans is required. Fewer scans do not provide usable comparative data.
What documents are required for trichoscopy reimbursement?
You must submit:
- At least two invoices from professional trichoscopy visits
- An official trichoscopy report
- Macro and micro scalp images
Reimbursements are processed in pairs:
- 0 & 3 months
- 3 & 6 months
- 6 & 12 months
Who can perform a trichoscopy scan?
Please consult a dermatologist or certified trichologist.
