The niostem App displays a percentage (%) in the home screen that shows the "Predicted hair density increase" over time.
How do we calculate that?
This data is based on our pilot study's average hair density increase, which is used to make a prediction of how much your hair density would change if you used the device daily for 30 minutes and would respond to the device as people in the pilot study did. In simple words, is a forecast of your hair growth. Having said that, the prediction is prediction not a fact. Currently, it is impossible to quantify your hair density and therefore, it is impossible to know how well the device works for you.
Why do we show this?
Based on our customer development and the alpha testers of the device, we decided to give information on what would be expected after "x" weeks of use in terms of hair regrowth. The only way we can do that is assuming that users will experience the same average growth as our pilot study participants did. In an average there are always good responders (high density increase), average responders and low responders (low density increase).
In the coming months we will be releasing a new version of the App, which will include more information in this regard and easier to understand and digest. If you have any suggestions on what information you would like to have, please let us know at support@niostem.com and we will try our best to consider it in our ongoing developments.
