The niostem headset is equipped with haptics i.e. small vibration motors that provide subtle mechanical feedback while the headset is in use (during sessions). This haptic feedback should help users become instantly aware of an active session, scalp-electrode disconnection events, out-of-range Bluetooth connectivity issues, and a session that has just finished. Similarly, as the actual hair regrowth stimulation is imperceptible, haptics make sure users know the device is working smoothly. Another option to check that the device is working properly during a session is the running countdown timer, in other words, if the timer runs the device is in stimulation mode = working fine.
The haptic feedback is ON by default. However, you can turn it off in the niostem App at the Adjustment screen (see picture below). Toggle the button to enable or disable the haptic feedback. This action needs to be made only once as the App will remember your choice.
